I feel sorry for the instance owners that are part of the not-so-secret group that was supposed to discuss full federation with the meta engineers working on threads and (according to my intel) have signed an NDA with Facebook/Meta that might not allow them to speak openly about what they really think now, after the moderation changes. I hope the agreements with Meta don't force them to keep federating with threads, but I guess we will never know what is in those agreements.
