I don’t know what’s been more disappointing:

*Watching nazis slowly take over the internet and dismantle it piece by piece over the last 10 to 20 years

*Watching “apolitical” sociopaths stand by and do nothing, because they’re nazis too,

*Or, watching most of you with your infighting and made up identity politics trying to silence and tone police the oppressed people who were telling you exactly what was happening the whole time.

I am old enough to remember when what is commonly called "virtue signalling" was instead called "setting a good example".

So let me get this straight: First, it was Elon. Now, it is Mark. Two guys are removing all moderation rules on social media. And are people asking another billionaire to build alternative social media? Do you even hear yourself? That is not going to fix anything. Maybe we should go back to the days of blogs, mailing lists, individual forums, and RSS feeds and end this madness of centralized social media apart from the federation. I’m just saying
