Finished watching Tokyo Swindlers. Do not recommend. If, like me, you made the mistake of watching the first episode and you're a completionist who feels the need to finish what you started, you can make it through the 7 episodes but it does not get better.
Not in a "so bad it's good" way. It's just a thoroughly uncreative show. It's got every cliché trope you can imagine. You can see every twist and turn a mile away if you forgot your glasses at home. If you asked an AI to write a script for "a suspenseful crime drama" it would not be too far off from this.
