If you're surprised Tesla takes and keeps recordings from their cars after seeing the news about the Cybertruck in Vegas, you shouldn't be. This is not something new. Tesla has been taking and storing media for many years, claiming it's used to train their AI capabilities. You can't opt out either.
And Tesla employees do access it, make fun of you, make memes, and share the content internally, without any legitimate reason to access the content.
While this is about Tesla, this is a growing problem across this and other industries.
Asian countries have handled COVID better because they acted on lessons from previous outbreaks such as SARS, and did the hard work to do key things such as normalize mask wearing.
Western countries are recklessly doing the opposite and making us more vulnerable to future pandemics by increasing stigmatization of masks and banning them.
American politics makes more sense when you realize the "liberals" are conservatives and the "conservatives" are fascists, and the former think they're in solidarity with the latter against the rest of us even though the latter would rather see the former die.
I actually don't think we have to be credulous about fake-ass Gaza scammers any more than we have to shut up and take what we are given from gutted and dystopian public school systems. The left-pious 'NO, WE *ALL* AGREE' gets wheeled out for the least good cases and y'all I am not here for it.

“In 2023, Google imposed “expiration dates” on Chromebooks, restricting the length of time they’ll support these devices, even if the hardware remains perfectly functional. This year, Google will cease support for 13 Chromebook models. Next year, 51 more will join the list of unsupported devices. This essentially forces users to retire their Chromebooks, even though many are still in good working order.”
this is the year i become EVEN WEIRDER
I am a human least likely to be impacted by pornography legislation, and the new US porn ID checks are stupid, ineffective, and dangerous to cyber security and privacy. A big database of ID info is always a target, and socially engineering people to install malicious evasive tools is way too easy.
