I am pretty sure I can lie myself into the smallpox vaccine, so I am going to try that. I wonder if I could fake some farm worker documentation to get my bird flu fix when the time comes.
I would be happy to just pay for these things, you assholes.

If you're in the market to feel better about your life, mighty fast, read anything written by parents who have children with pathological demand avoidance.
Since my Pinephone doesn't have a power key to turn it on anymore I thought I'd boot my old x250 and try running natively for a bit. It is not going well.
Did a sysupdate and it went fine. Tried to update netsurf and pulling from http which it was originally cloned from doesn't seem to work anymore. Fine, I'll delete the clone and using git+ssh.
Most websites do not load (including ones that should like 9front.org). I try with hget and it doesn't work there either. webfs doesn't get past dial'ing when I use the -d option.
It is not the dns, it resolves with ndb/query. It is not 9front, if I rcpu to my auth server it works from there. It is not a firewall, it works on other devices from this network. It is not the wifi being unstable, it happens on the physical jack as well. It is just this particular laptop that won't dial most sites but has no problems with some particular sites. git/walk
doesn't seem to have any customizations. I'm at a loss for what else to check. Might try booting from a recent usb image tomorrow. For now, I'm going to bed.
In the AI rush, the only one making money are those selling shovels.
Turns out its all shovelware...
I've worn off the keys on my pinephone and now can't turn it on. I guess I won't be wrapping up the i2c driver and touchscreen this weekend.
I wonder if any neat mods have come to Open X-Com.
woooo, probing i2c devices is working-ish. I'm getting 1 device on i2c0 (touch panel), and 3 on i2c1 (as expected.. accelerometer, magnetometer, and light sensor)). The address on i2c0 seems to be off by 1 (0x5e instead of 0x5d) but I'm getting closer.
It turns out, as usual, the reason it was broken is because I was doing something dumb.
So you based your business on being at a nazi bar to publish your newsletter and complain that people cancel their subscription to your newsletter because they are unhappy to have to go to the nazi bar, then maybe....
I don't know. Life is hard. But it's not no one warned of this.
